Woodward 5466-1250 and Woodward 5466-1347 are MicroNet CPU hardware variants used to run the configured control application. Each CPU forms the processing link between the loaded application, the MicroNet rack and the connected I/O modules.
When configured, Woodward 5466-1250 and Woodward 5466-1347 exchange I/O and status data with the rack, execute the assigned logic and expose the processor state to the service or programming interface. The GAP application and processor configuration operate through that CPU-to-rack path.
The installed rack path for Woodward 5466-1250 and Woodward 5466-1347 carries application data between the CPU position, the VME motherboard and the connected MicroNet I/O and communication modules.

Woodward 5466-1250 and Woodward 5466-1347 combine processor hardware with the MicroNet application path used by the control system.
The selected CPU executes the configured application rather than acting as a passive rack board.
Processor state and application status are exchanged with the rack and service path for commissioning checks.
The application result is returned to the configured control modules through the MicroNet data path.
The connection path for Woodward 5466-1250 and Woodward 5466-1347 includes the GAP programming interface, the rack backplane and the configured I/O map.
Use the assigned programming or service interface for the application image and configuration, not a field terminal.
The CPU exchanges channel data and status with the MicroNet rack through its backplane position.
The software map must identify the installed CPU and the slot that carries its rack data.
Which interface is used to configure Woodward 5466-1250 / 5466-1347?
Use the assigned GAP programming or service path for the installed processor. The field terminals belong to the I/O modules; they are not a substitute for the CPU programming connection.
Why does Woodward 5466-1250 / 5466-1347 accept an image but not run the application?
Check processor identity, application compatibility and rack slot assignment after the transfer. A successful transfer does not prove that the installed CPU is mapped to the active control position.
Can the rack map for Woodward 5466-1250 / 5466-1347 be copied from another CPU?
Copy only the parts explicitly shared by the project configuration, then verify the complete processor identity and slot. Do not assume that a similar MicroNet CPU uses the same application or security record.
What should be checked when Woodward 5466-1250 / 5466-1347 loses the rack data link?
Inspect the backplane position and processor state before changing the GAP image. The fault must be separated into rack connection, CPU initialization or application mapping.
How is a replacement Woodward 5466-1250 / 5466-1347 commissioned?
Record the original slot, application image and communication map, then load the matching configuration and confirm rack data. This keeps the processor role tied to the installed control architecture.
What does a processor alarm on Woodward 5466-1250 / 5466-1347 not prove?
It does not by itself prove that a field transmitter or output device has failed. Read the CPU status and rack data path first, then trace the affected channel.
Moore Automation keeps the complete Woodward CPU reference and configuration details together so application, security and rack questions remain tied to the requested hardware.
