MICRONET · CPU VARIANTS · CONTROL APPLICATION
PROCESSOR OPTIONS · RACK DATA · TMR CONTROL PATH
Woodward 5466-1145, Woodward 5466-1245 and Woodward 5466-1247 are MicroNet CPU and remote-network variants used to process the control application and coordinate the rack data path. Their hardware roles cover processor execution, remote-network exchange and the TMR arrangement used by the MicroNet Plus system.
For the control system, Woodward 5466-1145, Woodward 5466-1245 and Woodward 5466-1247 receive configured inputs, execute the application and return the resulting state through the rack communication path. The installed processor, software image and redundant or TMR arrangement therefore operate as one MicroNet Plus data path.
Within the MicroNet Plus arrangement, Woodward 5466-1145, Woodward 5466-1245 and Woodward 5466-1247 exchange processor, remote-network and TMR data through the rack and its designated communication paths; the redundant or TMR relationship is carried by the MicroNet architecture.

The three Woodward MicroNet CPU variants provide the processing point that turns rack input data into the configured control state.
Each installed CPU variant executes the control application associated with its own hardware record.
Woodward 5466-1145, Woodward 5466-1245 and Woodward 5466-1247 consume the configured input values before producing control results.
The resolved state is written to the rack path used by the downstream modules and control interfaces.
The integration of Woodward 5466-1145, Woodward 5466-1245 and Woodward 5466-1247 depends on the processor identity, rack map and configured redundancy role.
Install the selected CPU in the rack position assigned by the control architecture and retain its module identity in the configuration.
The CPU exchanges I/O and status data over the MicroNet rack path rather than through a stand-alone field terminal.
Where a redundant or TMR arrangement is used, the partner positions and application map must match the exact CPU variant.
How is the processor position assigned for Woodward 5466-1145 / 5466-1245 / 5466-1247?
Use the rack drawing and configuration map to assign the processor position before wiring or loading software. The three Woodward part numbers are CPU variants, but the correct rack role comes from the installed architecture.
Can Woodward 5466-1145 / 5466-1245 / 5466-1247 be exchanged without changing the application map?
Do not exchange them silently. Confirm the exact CPU identity, image requirements and any redundant or TMR partner mapping before the processor is moved.
What causes a mismatch between Woodward 5466-1145 / 5466-1245 / 5466-1247 and the rack I/O?
A wrong slot, stale processor map or incompatible application record can make the CPU and I/O appear disconnected. Check the physical position and configuration path before reterminating field wiring.
How should a TMR arrangement be checked for Woodward 5466-1145 / 5466-1245 / 5466-1247?
Verify each processor position and its A/B/C or redundant partner assignment in the rack record. Do not infer the voting arrangement from the shared MicroNet family name.
What should be retained when replacing Woodward 5466-1145 / 5466-1245 / 5466-1247?
Retain the slot identity, application image reference and rack communication settings. These records are needed to restore the same processing role rather than only fitting a board with a similar outline.
How can a startup alarm on Woodward 5466-1145 / 5466-1245 / 5466-1247 be narrowed down?
Read the processor state first, then compare the rack data map and application image. This separates a CPU initialization issue from an I/O or field signal problem.
