CPC-II Enhanced · 10 bar · electrohydraulic pressure control
Woodward 9907-1200 is a CPC-II Enhanced current-to-pressure converter for a 10 bar electrohydraulic control path. It converts a 4–20 mA setpoint into controlled hydraulic pressure for the connected valve actuator circuit.
Inside Woodward 9907-1200, the power supply filters the 18–32 Vdc input, the isolated input receives the setpoint, and the pressure-control loop drives a limited-angle rotary actuator. A pressure sensor returns feedback to the PCB so the microprocessor can regulate the control pressure.
Woodward 9907-1200 receives a 4–20 mA demand, compares it with pressure feedback and drives the limited-angle actuator that regulates the 0–10 bar control output. The separate analog readback and discrete fault outputs report the controlled pressure and converter state to the receiving system.

Woodward 9907-1200 converts an electrical demand into a controlled hydraulic pressure signal.
The power-supply section filters the 18–32 Vdc input before the control electronics use it.
The PI pressure loop compares demand and feedback, then drives the rotary actuator and hydraulic valve.
The analog output and discrete outputs provide the configured pressure readback and fault/alarm indications.
Woodward 9907-1200 combines feedback, fault outputs and thermal/current limits to supervise the converter path.
The pressure sensor returns the controlled value to the PCB for closed-loop regulation.
The actuator drive includes current limiting for thermal protection.
Dual discrete outputs provide configurable fault and alarm states for the connected control system.
What input signal does Woodward 9907-1200 use?
Woodward 9907-1200 receives a 4–20 mA setpoint into 200 ohms. Verify the source loop, common-mode condition and input wiring before adjusting the pressure loop.
Which pressure class belongs to Woodward 9907-1200?
The 9907-1200 is the 10 bar supply/control version, with a 0–10 bar(g) control range. Do not apply the 25 bar values from other CPC-II variants.
How should a pressure instability on Woodward 9907-1200 be investigated?
Check the setpoint signal, pressure feedback, drain pressure and dynamic settings in that order. A stable demand signal is required before judging the CPC response.
What cable entry arrangement does Woodward 9907-1200 use?
The electrical cable enters through two ¾-14 NPT threaded ports suitable for conduit or certified cable-gland fittings. Match the entry hardware to the installation classification.
Can the 4–20 mA output of Woodward 9907-1200 drive any load?
No. The analog output is specified for a maximum external load of 500 ohms. Include both the receiving device and wire resistance in the load check.
What should be checked if the Woodward 9907-1200 slave takes control?
Check the health link, redundant-unit wiring and the master fault/alarm states before changing the converter. A slave transfer indicates a control-path condition that must be diagnosed at the redundant interface.
