Woodward remote panel hardware
XT family power management controls · Ethernet HMI access · front-panel annunciation
Woodward 8446-1068 is the RP-3000XT remote control and annunciation panel for XT family power-management controls. It places the operator display and front-panel controls at an access door while the connected easYgen controller remains mounted at the back panel.
On the Ethernet path, Woodward 8446-1068 connects to an easYgen-3000XT genset control or an easYgen LS-6XT circuit-breaker control and mirrors the connected HMI resources. The same panel can work in full HMI mode, annunciation mode, or a deactivated mode, and its multicast function can reach a fleet of up to 32 controls one at a time.
For installation, Woodward 8446-1068 uses a 24 VDC supply and one Ethernet connection; the front panel is sealed to IP66 when mounted with the specified clamp. Its 7-inch WSVGA projected-capacitive display, panel cutout, and 1U-size mounting envelope define the access-door and cabinet space needed for the remote interface.

Ethernet link to XT controls Woodward 8446-1068 places a remote HMI on the same Ethernet path as the supported XT controller.
The panel discovers devices on the network and lets the operator select the controller to access.
Multicast can connect the panel to a fleet of up to 32 controls while the active view remains one device at a time.
The same Ethernet link carries full HMI resources or annunciation-only information, with a deactivated mode available when the remote view is not required.
Access-door mounting and power path Woodward 8446-1068 is installed as a front access interface while controller power and high-voltage wiring remain at the back panel.
The 7-inch display and 192 × 138.5 mm cutout define the access-door opening for the 205 × 146.9 × 46 mm panel.
A 24 VDC ±20% supply enters the RP-3000XT, and its typical consumption is 9 W.
The front reaches IP66 when the panel is installed with the specified clamp; the rear Ethernet and power connections remain inside the cabinet.
Woodward 8446-1068 is specified for easYgen-3000XT genset controls and easYgen LS-6XT circuit-breaker controls. The RP-3000XT does not make an unspecified controller compatible simply because it uses Ethernet.
The IP address and subnet mask of Woodward 8446-1068 must place it on the same Ethernet network as the XT controller. Check the panel supply, Ethernet link, and controller availability before selecting a discovered device from the remote-panel screen.
Woodward 8446-1068 can use its multicast function to connect to a fleet of up to 32 controls, but it selects and accesses one device at a time. That arrangement is different from operating several controllers simultaneously from one HMI session.
Woodward 8446-1068 uses a 24 VDC power connection and an Ethernet connection; the terminal diagram identifies no other user interface for this panel. The high-voltage connections remain at the back-panel controller rather than being brought to the remote access door.
The Woodward 8446-1068 RP-3000XT can act as a full mirror of the connected HMI resources, show annunciation information only, or be placed in a deactivated mode. The mode determines what the operator sees and whether front-panel control is available.
Woodward 8446-1068 uses a 205 × 146.9 × 46 mm housing and a 192 × 138.5 mm panel cutout. Leave the specified panel and clamp area available so the front IP66 sealing condition can be achieved without distorting the bezel.
