The Bently Nevada 21000-28-05-40-028-04-02 Proximity Probe Housing Assembly is designed to provide secure 

mounting and environmental protection for 3300 XL 8 mm proximity probes used in rotating machinery monitoring 

systems.This configuration includes a 3300 XL 8 mm probe with selectable hazardous area approvals and a 0.5 m 

(20 in.) probe cable, making it suitable for installations where a compact cable length is required. The housing is 

supplied with a 4.0 in. standoff adapter and a 2.8 in. probe penetration length, allowing the probe to be positioned 

correctly relative to the monitored shaft.For installation, the assembly is equipped with one 3/4-14 NPT plug and a 

3/4-14 NPT mounting thread, providing compatibility with standard industrial mounting arrangements. The threaded 

housing design helps ensure a secure mechanical installation while simplifying maintenance and probe replacement.
