Terminal base for the field-side connections of compatible FLEX I/O modules
Allen-Bradley 1794-TB3S is a FLEX I/O terminal base. It provides the field-side terminal structure beneath a compatible FLEX I/O module, separating field conductors into the assigned A, B and C terminal rows.
The base has 51 terminal positions. Row A carries positions A-0 through A-15; rows B-16 through B-33 and C-34 through C-51 are internally connected within the terminal base, establishing the base-side common paths used by the applicable module wiring.
The signal path begins at the field wiring terminals, passes through the terminal base, and then reaches the installed FLEX I/O module. The base itself does not define the module signal type; the terminal assignment must follow the module-specific wiring arrangement.
