Product Overview

Flow-sensor evaluation with relay indication

ifm SN0150 is a single-channel control monitor for flow sensors. It evaluates flow, temperature and wire status and provides relay switching functions with visual status indication.

The unit operates from an AC supply, provides an adjustable 10-80 second power-on delay and supports liquid or gas selection through the documented terminal bridge. Eleven LEDs provide operating and status information.

Flow, temperature and wire-status evaluation

Flow relay

The flow relay is energized when flow is present and during the power-on delay.

Temperature relay

The temperature relay is energized when the configured temperature limit is exceeded.

Wire monitoring

The wire-break relay is de-energized if a wire break or short circuit is detected.

Installation Highlights

DIN-rail installation and sensor selection

Install SN0150 on a TH 35 mounting rail according to EN 60715.
Maintain the convection space specified by ifm so that the -20 to +60 °C ambient rating is not exceeded.
Use the COMBICON terminals and protect the supply circuit with a fast-acting fuse rated no higher than 5 A.
The delivery setting is for liquid applications; bridge terminals 23 and 24 when selecting gas operation.
Adjust the 10-80 second power-on delay through the fixed-resistor connection at terminals 22 and 23.
