Target-facing element
The probe tip establishes the non-contact eddy-current field at the conductive target. The integral cable carries the gap-dependent response away from the machine case without converting it locally.

Three 5 mm probe executions sharing the same electrical path while providing 1.5, 2.2 and 2.8 inch case lengths.
Bently Nevada 330171-00-15-10-11-05 / 330171-00-22-10-11-05 / 330171-00-28-10-11-05 are 3300 XL 5 mm proximity probes with a 1/4-28 UNF case and no armor. Each probe forms the target-facing element of a matched transducer system, converting shaft-to-tip clearance into an eddy-current response that travels through the integral cable to the extension cable and Proximitor Sensor.
The order fields of Bently Nevada 330171-00-15-10-11-05 / 330171-00-22-10-11-05 / 330171-00-28-10-11-05 keep the sensing and connection path constant while changing only the overall case length. The 15, 22 and 28 fields select 1.5, 2.2 and 2.8 inch cases; every execution retains zero unthreaded length, a 1.0 m integral lead and the ClickLoc connector with protector and FluidLoc cable.
Installed at the machine case, Bently Nevada 330171-00-15-10-11-05 / 330171-00-22-10-11-05 / 330171-00-28-10-11-05 must place the tip inside the adjustment range without forcing the coaxial lead. The selected case length therefore sets the mechanical reach, while the matched 5 mm extension cable and Proximitor Sensor complete the calibrated electrical length.

The three Bently Nevada 330171 executions occupy the same measurement chain; case length changes reach, not the electrical role of the probe.
The probe tip establishes the non-contact eddy-current field at the conductive target. The integral cable carries the gap-dependent response away from the machine case without converting it locally.
The one-metre probe lead joins the extension cable through the protected ClickLoc connection. Probe and extension lengths are selected together so the Proximitor Sensor receives the specified total system length.
The Proximitor Sensor conditions the probe response into the voltage used by the monitoring channel. Field wiring begins after this conversion; it does not replace any part of the matched coaxial chain.
Mechanical reach is selected first; the sensing gap is established only after the probe body, lead and connector path are secured.
Measure from the mounting face to the target, then select the 1.5, 2.2 or 2.8 inch case that leaves usable adjustment without placing the connector transition inside the clamp area.
Insert the probe without twisting the integral cable, use a smooth bend radius and support the lead independently so vibration or clamp pressure cannot shift the sensing tip.
Connect the matched extension cable and Proximitor Sensor, set the target gap from conditioned voltage, tighten the probe hardware and verify the voltage again after final cable routing.
Choose the Bently Nevada 330171 model whose 1.5, 2.2 or 2.8 inch case reaches the target while leaving adjustment and cable clearance. The probe family, lead, connector and approval fields remain the same.
No. Bently Nevada 330171-00-15-10-11-05 uses the 330171 execution without armor; the 11 field specifies a protected ClickLoc connection and FluidLoc cable, not probe armor.
Bently Nevada 330171-00-22-10-11-05 first connects through the matched 5 mm extension cable to its Proximitor Sensor. The monitor receives the conditioned output from that sensor.
On Bently Nevada 330171-00-28-10-11-05, verify that the case has not rotated, the lead is independently supported and the clamp is not loading the cable. Reset the gap only after the mechanical position is stable.
Bently Nevada 330171-00-15-10-11-05 identifies the 1.5 inch case, one-metre lead, connector/cable execution and approval option. Recording only 330171 loses the mechanical and connection choices.
Bently Nevada 330171-00-15-10-11-05, 330171-00-22-10-11-05 and 330171-00-28-10-11-05 can use the same extension-cable family only when the cable gives the required total system length; probe and extension lead lengths must still be matched.
Moore Automation keeps manufacturer, complete model, quantity and destination connected to one enquiry. Nameplate photographs and available technical files can remain with that record when a probe execution needs clarification.
