Allen-Bradley 25C-D4P0N104 and 25C-D6P0N104 are PowerFlex 527 drives that serve as Logix-controlled motion axes for 380…480 V three-phase motors. 25C-D4P0N104 delivers 4.0 A for 2 HP, while 25C-D6P0N104 delivers 6.0 A for 3 HP.
The Logix controller sends position or velocity commands to 25C-D4P0N104 and 25C-D6P0N104 through the dual-port EtherNet/IP connection, and the drives return axis and module status to the controller. Hardwired digital, analog, relay and Safe Torque Off signals enter through the removable control terminal block rather than sharing the network data path.
Three-phase input feeds the power stage of 25C-D4P0N104 and 25C-D6P0N104, which converts it into controlled U/T1, V/T2 and W/T3 motor output. Drive and network indicators show module, link and connection states so a power-stage condition can be distinguished from an EtherNet/IP or controller connection problem.

25C-D4P0N104 and 25C-D6P0N104 exchange motion commands and axis status with their owning Logix controller over EtherNet/IP.
The associated Logix axis sends enable and motion commands through the active network connection.
Drive state and axis information return to the controller for use by the motion application.
Motion output requires a valid controller connection, a ready drive state and an enabled hardwired safety path.
Fault analysis for 25C-D4P0N104 and 25C-D6P0N104 combines local status indicators with Logix module and axis diagnostics.
Module status identifies ready, active and faulted drive conditions.
EtherNet/IP indicators separate physical-link activity from controller connection state.
The Logix project reports module and axis faults so the affected power, network or motion path can be checked before reset.
The Logix controller holds the motion-axis relationship and sends command data through the established network connection. The drive is not commissioned as an unrelated local speed controller.
Use the drive/module and network indicators together. One set reflects drive state while the other helps identify link and connection conditions.
The Logix project provides module and axis diagnostics associated with the connected drive. Review the reported condition before clearing it.
No. Controller commands govern operation, but the complete catalog number still fixes the output current and motor-power rating.
No. Safe Torque Off disables torque-producing output but does not disconnect line or DC-bus voltage.
The control diagram explicitly warns against shorting those terminals. Preserve their separate functions when building the control circuit.
