Bulletin 1305 Series C · exact-model technical comparison
Allen-Bradley 1305-AA08A / 1305-AA12A are the higher-current 200/230 V members of the compact Bulletin 1305 Series C range. Both use the same rectifier, DC-link, regulator, and PWM inverter relationship, while AA12A raises the continuous motor-output step beyond AA08A.
When 1305-AA08A / 1305-AA12A receive a run command, the selected reference passes through programmed limits and acceleration or deceleration ramps before it controls inverter frequency. Protection logic simultaneously watches current, bus, temperature, and motor-overload conditions, allowing a fault to block the output even when the command circuit remains present.

The shared interface of 1305-AA08A / 1305-AA12A can obscure important power-stage differences during spare selection.
AA12A carries a larger sustained motor demand than AA08A even though their programming concepts match.
Output and line components follow the exact catalog rating rather than the family name.
Losses from the selected power stage enter the enclosure and must be included in panel thermal design.
Moore Automation combines multi-brand industrial sourcing with catalog-number attention and a direct quotation contact for time-sensitive spare-part requirements.
