Meggitt Vibro-Meter VM600 hardware
Serving the measurement interface, the Meggitt Vibro-Meter XIO16T 620-002-000-113 is a VM600 input/output card for dynamic measurement channels and tachometer signals. It organizes those two signal families on one card so the rack can receive measurement and rotational-reference data through separate connector paths.
On XIO16T 620-002-000-113, the tachometer path uses J2 while the dynamic channels use J3 and J4. The card is used with the XMV16 measurement arrangement, which presents the field-side signal connections for the VM600 rack.
The connector split on XIO16T 620-002-000-113 keeps tachometer timing separate from the dynamic measurement inputs. Those signals then enter the VM600 rack through the card interface for processing by the associated monitoring hardware.

XIO16T 620-002-000-113 separates dynamic measurement and tachometer functions on the VM600 input/output card.
The dynamic channels enter through the J3 and J4 connector group.
The tachometer signals enter through J2 as a separate signal family.
Both signal groups are presented to the VM600 rack through the XIO16T card interface.
The connector assignment on XIO16T 620-002-000-113 determines which cable carries each signal family.
J2 is used for the tachometer path and must remain separate from the dynamic-channel cables.
XIO16T 620-002-000-113 provides sixteen dynamic input channels and a separate four-channel tachometer group. The channel groups are wired and interpreted differently, so the tachometer assignment must not be treated as another dynamic input bank.
In the rack path for XIO16T 620-002-000-113, the tachometer inputs are routed through J2, while the dynamic inputs use J3 and J4. Keeping those connector assignments separate prevents a tachometer cable from being placed on a dynamic input path.
To trace XIO16T 620-002-000-113, j2 is assigned to the tachometer group, so a dynamic signal connected there would not follow the intended channel map. Move the dynamic cable to its J3/J4 assignment and keep the tachometer wiring on J2.
XIO16T 620-002-000-113 does not choose the external protocol. The XIO16T card passes its dynamic and tachometer channel data through the VM600 rack arrangement to the associated processing module. The XMV16/XIO16T pair therefore has to be considered together when the channel map is checked.
When documenting XIO16T 620-002-000-113, review the connector group, the channel number and the associated XMV16/XIO16T rack pairing before changing software settings. A channel can appear absent when the physical cable is assigned to the wrong group.
During a XIO16T 620-002-000-113 review, no. It is the input/output module for the extended condition-monitoring arrangement. The rack processing module handles acquisition and processing while XIO16T presents the assigned dynamic and tachometer channels.
