GE Fanuc IC670MDL331 is an eight-point 120 VAC discrete output module for Field Control. Its outputs are arranged in four isolated groups of two, allowing separate AC load groups while retaining higher current capability than the sixteen-point grouped module.
Each group has its own fuse indication and can carry up to 2 A. The logic-side LEDs show commanded output states, while the fuse indicators allow a failed field group to be distinguished during troubleshooting.
The module receives operating power and output commands from the BIU, but the connected loads require an external 120 VAC source. Group loading, module derating and inrush current must all be checked for coils or incandescent loads.
