The Siemens 3RW4075-6BB44 is a SIRIUS 3RW40 soft starter in size S12. It controls the starting and stopping voltage of three-phase motors in a standard circuit, reducing mechanical shock and current peaks compared with direct-on-line starting. The unit is rated for 356 A at 40°C and 200 kW at 400 V.

An integrated bypass contact system reduces losses after the motor reaches operating speed. Adjustable current limitation, intrinsic device protection, electronic motor overload protection and external reset are integrated into the soft starter. Main-circuit connection is by busbar; auxiliary and control circuits use screw-type terminals.
