The MCR-C-UI-UI(-450)-DCI(-NC) three-way signal isolator is used for electrical isolation and conversion of analog signals. It ensures electrical isolation of standard analog signals. The module's inputs and outputs are electrically isolated and supplied with power via an integrated DC/DC converter (three-way isolation). A green power LED indicates the required auxiliary power supply, making it clear whether the auxiliary power supply is available. The MCR module ensures safe decoupling of the sensor circuit from the evaluation circuit, thus preventing interference between multiple sensor circuits. The three-way isolation means that the module can be used universally, both in the field and near the controller, for signal conversion and electrical isolation, and for bridging high load resistances along the transmission path. Signal conversion is performed inductively. A filter connected downstream of the transmitter reduces potential interference.
