GE IC695RMX228 PACSystems RX3i 128 MB Reflective Memory Module
Product Description
IC695RMX228 is a 128 MB RX3i reflective-memory module with a single-mode optical transceiver. It distributes shared memory deterministically between nodes without routing ordinary Ethernet traffic through the control application.
Every write to the configured memory region is reproduced around the optical ring. Before reinsertion, record the node identity and memory map, inspect the single-mode fiber path, and verify ring health and peer data at each participating controller.
Technical Specifications
Reflective-Memory Ring Integrity
Fiber path
Confirm connector type, transmit/receive direction and optical budget before energizing.
Node identity
Duplicate node settings can interrupt the ring or overwrite another station's data.
Memory map
Document offsets, ownership and update logic; physical compatibility does not preserve the map.
Controlled Ring Reinsertion
Capture
Capture node ID, interrupt settings, memory map and application references.
Clean
Clean and inspect fiber ends; confirm receive/transmit routing before insertion.
Observe
Observe ring diagnostics and compare shared data at every peer before enabling outputs.
FAQ
Which order-code checks belong to the Reflective-Memory Ring Integrity decision for IC695RMX228?
Match the complete order code, hardware revision, compatibility and installed system configuration; a similar family name is not enough for replacement selection.
What must be backed up before the Controlled Ring Reinsertion procedure for IC695RMX228?
Save the editable application, hardware configuration, communication parameters, retained production data and the firmware or software baseline used by this PACSystems RX3i 128 MB Reflective Memory Module.
How does fiber path affect Reflective-Memory Ring Integrity for IC695RMX228?
Confirm connector type, transmit/receive direction and optical budget before energizing.
Why does node identity need separate verification during Controlled Ring Reinsertion for IC695RMX228?
Duplicate node settings can interrupt the ring or overwrite another station's data.
How should IC695RMX228 complete the Controlled Ring Reinsertion sequence before return to service?
Complete the documented startup sequence, verify diagnostics and communications, test the application under controlled conditions and confirm the applicable machine interlocks.
A Moore Automation sales contact can follow an enquiry from the initial model list through quotation and order coordination.
