IC600BF843 is the current-input version of the GE Fanuc Series Six analog input module family. It occupies one I/O position and converts eight field channels into 12-bit binary values that the controller places in the Input Status Table. The catalog identity is tied to the 4-20 mA range, while a front-panel connection change allows the same module to read +1 to +5 V signals.

An eight-to-one multiplexer selects the active channel before analog-to-digital conversion. Along with the measured value, the module reports channel number and operating conditions, including open-wire, high-limit, low-limit and module-status information. Sequential access reads the full channel set, while repetitive access supports faster sampling of one selected channel.

This module is intended for process measurements such as motor-speed monitoring, energy-use monitoring, data logging, alarm-level sensing and position sensing. The field range, channel wiring and CPU compatibility must be checked against the installed hardware before replacement.
