GE DS200LDCCH1A identifies the first functional-revision family of the LDCC Drive Control / LAN Communications Board described in GEI-100216. The board combines drive processing and network-control functions that were provided by separate DCC and LCC boards in earlier arrangements.

Four processing functions are identified: Drive Control Processor, Motor Control Processor, Co-motor Processor and LAN Control Processor. The LAN section can process DLAN+, DLAN, Genius, CPL and C-bus communications, with interface boards used where required.

Every catalog-number character is significant. Later DS200LDCCH1A assemblies add secondary and artwork revision characters, so those complete revisions remain separate order identities.

The LDCC integrates drive, motor, optional co-motor and LAN processing. This architecture supports control algorithms, application data, customer I/O and LAN communication within the associated drive or exciter.

DCP handles primary drive-control processing.
MCP supports motor-control processing.
LCP manages LAN communication functions.

Configuration and Diagnostics

Programmer interface, resets and fault indication

The board supports an onboard Programmer module through KPPL and displays fault information through the Programmer display and DN1 LEDs. Reset can be initiated by the board pushbutton, an external control input, software or the internal watchdog.

Copy jumper positions only from the exact installed revision.
Remove power before board or cable replacement.
The LDCC has no field-serviceable fuses and is replaced as a unit.
