The 990 Vibration Transmitter is designed for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) of centrifugal air compressors, small pumps, motors, or fans who wish to provide a simple 4 to 20 mA proportional vibration signal as an input to machinery control systems. This transmitter is a two-wire, loop-powered device. The sensor accepts input from our 3300 NSv proximity probe and its associated extension cable (available in 5- and 7-meter system lengths). The transmitter conditions the signal to appropriate peak-to-peak vibration amplitude engineering units and provides this value as an industry-standard 4 to 20 mA proportional signal to the control system, which is responsible for machinery protection alarms and control logic†.
