The Bently Nevada 74712-06-03-04-00 and 74712-06-12-04-04 are high-temperature, self-generating Seismoprobe velocity transducers for casing-vibration measurement. Both select the 0° ±100° orientation, a 10 Hz minimum operating frequency and a side-mounted connector, while their base and approval fields establish different installation hardware.
A rectangular flange and no agency approval define 74712-06-03-04-00; an isolated circular base with a 1/2-20 UNF-2A mounting thread and CSA, ATEX and IECEx approvals define 74712-06-12-04-04. Each model generates 20 mV/mm/s across the specified load and operates through the same moving-coil mechanism from −29 to +204 °C.

Both 74712 configurations use the same moving-coil measurement path, sensitivity and temperature range; the catalog differences occur at the mounting interface and approval execution.
Casing motion moves the internal coil and magnet assembly, producing velocity-proportional voltage without a local transducer power supply.
The shared option-06 orientation establishes a 10 Hz lower operating frequency for both complete models.
The transducer construction supports operation through 204 °C while the external cable and mounting hardware remain separately selected.
The base code determines how machine motion enters each sensor and whether electrical isolation is included at the mounting interface.
74712-06-03-04-00 bolts to a prepared flat surface through the option-03 rectangular base.
74712-06-12-04-04 uses option 12, an isolated circular base with a 1/2-20 UNF-2A mounting thread.
The isolated option-12 base supports the option-04 CSA, ATEX and IECEx execution of 74712-06-12-04-04.
Use the first where the rectangular flange and no-approval execution match the installation; the second changes both the base and approvals.
Its option-12 circular base is isolated and uses a 1/2-20 UNF-2A mounting thread.
Their shared option-06 orientation has a 10 Hz lower operating limit, so slower movement is outside the specified response.
Code 04 places the connector on the side, requiring lateral plug and strain-relief clearance.
Pin A is positive relative to Pin B when transducer-case velocity moves toward the connector.
A loose, flexible or uneven interface prevents casing motion from reaching the sensitive axis correctly.
Export packing, requested carriers and shipment tracking are coordinated around the recorded model, quantity and destination.
