Bently Nevada · Orbit 60 engineering software
Bently Nevada 60X/CFG is Orbit Studio Configuration Software for creating, editing, transferring, and reviewing Orbit 60 system configurations. Bently Nevada 60X/CFG represents the engineering client used to define chassis modules, channels, measurements, setpoints, relays, and system-level behavior before those settings are sent through the SIM.
A single Bently Nevada 60X/CFG client can connect to multiple Orbit 60 systems, open configurations while offline, and copy or paste modules and channels between compatible project structures. Bently Nevada 60X/CFG also retrieves installed configurations, displays current values, and presents loop-check information as lists or graphs.
When a low full-scale-range device is configured, Bently Nevada 60X/CFG issues a measurement-accuracy warning so sensor sensitivity and range can be reviewed together. Bently Nevada 60X/CFG therefore supports both configuration programming and verification without becoming part of the real-time protection measurement path.

Bently Nevada 60X/CFG supports a deliberate sequence in which the Orbit 60 structure is prepared, reviewed, and then transferred through the SIM.
Bently Nevada 60X/CFG lets the engineer create the chassis, module, channel, measurement, alarm, and relay structure before connecting to hardware.
Bently Nevada 60X/CFG can copy or paste modules and channels so repeated configurations do not have to be re-entered field by field.
Bently Nevada 60X/CFG delivers the completed configuration to the connected system after access and lock conditions are satisfied.
Bently Nevada 60X/CFG combines configuration readback with live values and loop-check views so the project file can be compared with the connected system.
Bently Nevada 60X/CFG can retrieve settings from a connected Orbit 60 system before changes are prepared.
Bently Nevada 60X/CFG displays current values to confirm that configured channels are receiving the expected inputs.
Bently Nevada 60X/CFG presents loop-check information in list and graphical forms for structured commissioning work.
Bently Nevada 60X/CFG can create and edit an offline configuration containing the planned chassis, modules, channels, measurements, setpoints, and relays. The Bently Nevada 60X/CFG file can then be reviewed before it is sent to the installed system.
When Bently Nevada 60X/CFG cannot send changes, verify that the SIM is in Program mode, Configuration Lock is not active, and the user has the required rights. Bently Nevada 60X/CFG can remain connected while the system intentionally blocks edits.
Use Bently Nevada 60X/CFG to retrieve the installed configuration and compare it with the working project before overwriting either record. Bently Nevada 60X/CFG supports both directions, so the intended authoritative file must be chosen deliberately.
Bently Nevada 60X/CFG warns when the configured full-scale range can magnify accuracy effects for low-output sensors. Review sensor sensitivity, measurement range, and the receiving input together before accepting the Bently Nevada 60X/CFG configuration.
Bently Nevada 60X/CFG provides current-value and loop-check views that help confirm signal paths while the Orbit 60 modules continue to perform the actual measurement. Bently Nevada 60X/CFG is the engineering interface, not a substitute for the hardware channels.
Bently Nevada 60X/CFG can copy compatible modules and channels, but each copied structure should be checked for slot, channel, sensor, setpoint, and relay differences. Treat Bently Nevada 60X/CFG reuse as a starting point rather than proof that two machines are identical.
