Bently Nevada · Orbit 60 speed and phase input
Bently Nevada 60R/INP06-02-0 is a four-channel Orbit 60 Keyphasor Input Module that converts magnetic-pickup, three-wire Proximitor, or three-wire accelerometer timing signals into speed and phase references. Bently Nevada 60R/INP06-02-0 supplies the phase information used for 1X vectors and synchronous waveform measurements elsewhere in the system.
Across once-per-turn and multi-event-per-turn arrangements, Bently Nevada 60R/INP06-02-0 digitizes a notch or protrusion event and can accept input speeds up to 120,000 rpm, equivalent to 20 kHz at the input. Bently Nevada 60R/INP06-02-0 also provides a buffered transducer output that can be configured as the analog input signal or a processed TTL waveform.
The suffix in Bently Nevada 60R/INP06-02-0 identifies the Multi hazardous-area approval option and the no-SIL execution. Bently Nevada 60R/INP06-02-0 occupies one chassis slot, connects to the internal Orbit 60 network, and can provide a backup speed source when that function is configured.

Bently Nevada 60R/INP06-02-0 turns a physical once-per-turn or multi-event marker into the speed and phase references consumed by Orbit 60 measurements.
Bently Nevada 60R/INP06-02-0 accepts the changing input produced as the shaft marker passes the selected magnetic or proximity sensor.
Bently Nevada 60R/INP06-02-0 measures event timing across four inputs so the system can derive rotational speed over the supported frequency range.
Bently Nevada 60R/INP06-02-0 publishes phase information that aligns 1X vectors and synchronously sampled waveforms with shaft position.
The field side of Bently Nevada 60R/INP06-02-0 accepts several timing-sensor types, while the buffered-output side provides a selectable signal for commissioning or external use.
Bently Nevada 60R/INP06-02-0 must be configured for the connected magnetic pickup, three-wire Proximitor, or three-wire accelerometer rather than treating all three inputs alike.
Bently Nevada 60R/INP06-02-0 can expose the incoming analog waveform or a processed TTL representation at its buffered transducer output.
Bently Nevada 60R/INP06-02-0 can serve as a configured backup speed source when the primary reference path is unavailable.
When Bently Nevada 60R/INP06-02-0 shows speed without stable phase, verify the notch-or-protrusion polarity, event threshold, sensor gap, and once-per-turn or multi-event setting. Bently Nevada 60R/INP06-02-0 needs one consistently detected timing event before it can supply a dependable phase reference.
Bently Nevada 60R/INP06-02-0 supports magnetic pickups as well as three-wire Proximitor and three-wire accelerometer inputs, but Bently Nevada 60R/INP06-02-0 must be wired and configured for the actual sensor type because their signal ranges and interfaces differ. Confirm the selected interface before energizing the field connection to Bently Nevada 60R/INP06-02-0.
For Bently Nevada 60R/INP06-02-0 above 12,000 rpm, confirm event frequency remains within 20 kHz, sensor amplitude stays inside the selected input range, and the marker produces a clean edge. Bently Nevada 60R/INP06-02-0 can accept up to 120,000 rpm, but the event count per revolution directly affects input frequency.
Bently Nevada 60R/INP06-02-0 can present either the analog input or a processed TTL waveform. If Bently Nevada 60R/INP06-02-0 is set to TTL, the buffered signal represents the detected timing event rather than the original analog shape.
The 02 field in Bently Nevada 60R/INP06-02-0 selects the Multi approval execution, while 0 selects no SIL. A replacement for Bently Nevada 60R/INP06-02-0 should retain those fields when the installed certification basis depends on them.
Bently Nevada 60R/INP06-02-0 supports a backup speed-source function, but Bently Nevada 60R/INP06-02-0 still needs the alternate input and system logic to be configured and verified. Installing Bently Nevada 60R/INP06-02-0 alone does not define when the backup is used.
