The Bently Nevada 330878-90-05 3300 XL 50 mm proximity sensor is a large-gap monitoring solution within the 3300 XL series, specifically designed for axial displacement, radial vibration, and shaft rotation monitoring of large rotating machinery.  With its exceptionally large 50 mm measurement range and industrial-grade reliability, it serves as a core component for condition monitoring of heavy machinery such as turbines, hydro turbines, and large compressors. Based on proven eddy current technology, this sensor utilizes a highly stable coil design and precise signal processing to enable non-contact, accurate measurement of metal targets in harsh industrial environments.  This eliminates wear and signal lag issues associated with mechanical contact, ensuring accurate and consistent monitoring data over time. Its robust design is optimized for heavy-duty applications, with a probe housing made of AISI 316 stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion, high-temperature, and impact resistance.  It operates reliably within a wide temperature range of -40°F to 356°F (-40°C to 180°C) and has an IP65 rating, effectively protecting against dust, moisture, and oil. The sensor outputs a standardized voltage signal, seamlessly integrating with Bently Nevada 3300 XL monitoring modules and also compatible with most third-party monitoring systems, providing flexible system deployment options.
