Accessible Probe Installation for Rotating Machinery
Bently Nevada 24701-28-05-15-026-03-02 is an all-metal Proximity Probe Housing Assembly for external mounting of a proximity probe. The 24701 housing uses a stainless steel body and sleeve, with a screw-on dome cover, conduit ports, probe sleeve, seals, reverse-mount probe, standoff adapter and selected conduit fittings.
The housing provides access to the probe and its extension cable so technicians can adjust the probe gap or replace the probe without dismantling the machine. This configuration contains a 3300 XL 8 mm reverse-mount probe with multiple approvals and a 0.5 m integral cable.
Correct performance depends on the complete proximity transducer system. The installed probe, extension cable, Proximitor Sensor, target material, gap and monitor input must remain electrically and mechanically compatible.
