One combined page for two unarmored 1/4-28 probe configurations
21500-00-32-05-02 and 21500-00-12-10-02 are Bently Nevada 7200 series 5 mm standard-mount proximity probes. Both use a 1/4-28 case thread, no lead armor, a 0.0 in unthreaded section and a miniature male coaxial connector.
The mechanical and cable lengths distinguish the pair. 21500-00-32-05-02 has a 3.2 in case and a 0.5 m total length; 21500-00-12-10-02 has a 1.2 in case and a 1.0 m total length.
Each probe works only as one component of a matched 7200 5 mm/8 mm proximity system. The extension cable and 7200 Proximitor Sensor must preserve the original calibrated system length and family identification.

The 3.2 in body of the first configuration provides additional threaded reach while keeping the lead at 0.5 m. The second uses a compact 1.2 in body but extends the integral lead to 1.0 m, moving the detachable coaxial connection farther from the probe location.
Both retain the same 5 mm tip family, 1/4-28 standard mount and unarmored cable construction. Selection therefore turns on physical reach and lead routing rather than sensing principle.
Connect either probe only to the 7200 extension cable and Proximitor Sensor assigned to the same 5 mm/8 mm system family. Preserve the calibrated total electrical length and keep the light-yellow family identification consistent across all three components.
After the mechanical fit is confirmed, route the unarmored lead away from sharp edges and fluid exposure, secure the miniature coaxial joint, set the probe gap against the conductive target and verify the static gap voltage before enabling vibration or position alarming.
Choose the 3.2 in case when the bracket requires the longer body; the 1.2 in case is intended for a more compact mounting depth. Both have a 0.0 in unthreaded section, so the decision should be based on verified physical clearance.
The 1.2 in case version has the longer 1.0 m integral lead, while the 3.2 in case version has a 0.5 m lead. Measure the protected routing distance before ordering so the unarmored cable is neither stretched nor unnecessarily coiled near the machine.
They share the 7200 5 mm family, 1/4-28 thread and miniature coaxial connector, but their lead lengths differ. Confirm the assigned extension cable and Proximitor Sensor preserve the calibrated total system length before exchanging them.
Do not perform a probe-only cross-family swap. Review the complete probe, extension cable, Proximitor Sensor and monitor input so mechanical fit does not conceal an electrical mismatch.
Check for abrasion, sharp bends, movement and liquid contamination at the miniature coaxial joint. Secure the cable along a protected route, restore the working gap and verify the static and dynamic channel response.
