Two ABB manipulator harness records installed with a documented clamp-position modification on applicable IRB 6600 and IRB 6650 robots.
ABB 3HAC024385-001 / 3HAC024386-001 are manipulator harness records for applicable IRB 6600 and IRB 6650 robot configurations. The harness carries power and signal conductors through the moving manipulator, linking controller-side cabling with motor, brake and feedback connections across the articulated structure.
Cable restraint is part of the installed function of ABB 3HAC024385-001 / 3HAC024386-001. For the documented revision, clamp 3HAC038354-001 is replaced by 3HAC11497-7, and rubber clamp 3HAC031685-002 is moved 95 mm to the left until it aligns with the white harness mark. This preserves the intended bend path as the robot axes move.
After ABB 3HAC024385-001 / 3HAC024386-001 is routed and clamped, each connector is seated at its labeled destination and the harness is inspected through controlled robot movement. Clearance, twist and clamp pressure are checked before normal speed is restored; the separate IRB 6650S arrangement is not treated as this same modification.

The harness integrates stationary cabinet wiring with connections that must travel through the robot structure.
Labeled harness connectors join the controller or base cable set, preserving the assigned power, brake and feedback paths.
The bundled conductors follow the manipulator geometry so electrical continuity is maintained while the axes change position.
Motor and feedback connectors terminate at their assigned robot components; connector identity is retained throughout removal and installation.
The clamp modification is completed as part of routing, then the harness is observed through controlled motion before release.
De-energize the robot, label every connector and release the old harness without pulling on connector bodies or changing adjacent cable routes.
Install clamp 3HAC11497-7 and move rubber clamp 3HAC031685-002 exactly 95 mm left to the white harness mark.
Seat all connectors, restore covers and move the affected axes at controlled speed while checking bend radius, twist, rubbing and clamp pressure.
For ABB 3HAC024385-001 / 3HAC024386-001, replace clamp 3HAC038354-001 with 3HAC11497-7 and move rubber clamp 3HAC031685-002 95 mm left to the white mark.
No. The documented ABB 3HAC024385-001 / 3HAC024386-001 modification excludes the IRB 6650S arrangement, which uses harness 3HAC075000-001.
Clamp position controls the moving bend path of ABB 3HAC024385-001 / 3HAC024386-001 and prevents rubbing, excessive tension or concentrated flexing during robot motion.
Label every connector and record the route, clamp positions and tie points of ABB 3HAC024385-001 / 3HAC024386-001 before release.
Move the affected axes slowly and inspect ABB 3HAC024385-001 / 3HAC024386-001 for twist, rubbing, connector movement and inadequate bend radius.
No. Support ABB 3HAC024385-001 / 3HAC024386-001 along the route and never use connector bodies or conductors as pulling points.
Moore Automation maintains model-led records for industrial control and robot parts. Complete identifiers, quantities, destination notes and available photographs can remain linked so the requested harness is distinguished from adjacent robot revisions.
